Garuda

Overview: The gore-soaked ghoul. Draining health and inflicting bleed status effects with disturbing speed, Garuda is an unusual take on a support-based frame. The blueprints can be acquired from the Vox Solaris quest and parts from Orb Vallis bounties. Prime: Garuda prime is currently available in void relic rewards. She boasts an improved energy pool and armour rating over her normal version, as well as enhanced talons when using no melee weapon. Special: Garuda deals more damage the more she kills – up to 100% bonus damage from all sources if she kill fast enough. She also gains additional energy … Continue reading Garuda

Harrow

Overview: Bind enemies in spectral chains, restore health and energy, convert shields to attack and reload buffs, or provide temporary invulnerability with a retaliatory critical chance buff. If this support frame sounds good, obtain the blueprint from the Chains of Harrow quest, the chassis from void fissure enemies, the neuroptics from spy missions on the Kuva Fortress, and the systems from defection missions. Prime: Harrow prime is currently available, and boasts improved shield and energy capacity over the normal version. Relics that can contain his components can be obtained as mission rewards or from syndicate relic packs. Special: Higher over-shield … Continue reading Harrow

Loki

Overview: Pure utility in a stealthy package, Loki puts the agile in fragile but lacks any offensive powers. That said, being able to remain invisible for extended periods of time, create decoys, teleport and perform a radial disarm effect gives you plenty to do. Pick up the components from the Hyena Pack on Neptune. Prime: Loki prime is currently vaulted, so if you want to obtain him, you’ll need to ask friends and clanmates if they have any relics, try the trading channel or wait for an unvaulting event. Special: Wall latching lasts ten times longer. Wow. Pretty much pointless … Continue reading Loki

Rhino

Overview: Bowl enemies over, plate yourself in iron, boost squad damage with your roars and stomp the ground so hard you slow time – if this sounds good to you, try out Rhino. You can get Rhino components by killing the Jackal on Venus, and the main blueprint from the marketplace. Prime: Rhino prime does exist, but the relics containing his parts are currently “vaulted” and will not drop from any source. Try asking friends and clanmates if they have any relics, keep an eye on the trading channel or wait for an “unvaulting” event if you want this Orokin … Continue reading Rhino

Gara

Overview: Clad in crystal armour, Gara forms molten glass rings then shatters them for massive area damage, while protecting herself and her allies with clouds of razor-sharp crystal. Try Gara if you want a tough, high damage frame with built in crowd-control – you can pick up the blueprint from the Saya’s Vigil quest and parts from bounties on the Plains of Eidolon. Prime: The primed version of Gara gains additional health and armour. Relics containing her components can be found in most mission types, but I recommend: Blueprint: Xini (Eris) interception with a 14.29% chance on round 3 and … Continue reading Gara

Lavos

Overview: Infused with elemental essence, Lavos launches deadly cocktails of energy to eradicate his foes. You can buy his components from the Entrati Family in the Deimos Necralisk. Special: When collecting an energy or universal orb, clear any ongoing status effects and become immune to further effects for 10 seconds. In addition, ability duration mods apply their bonuses to all status effects caused by Lavos and his weapons. The powers used by Lavos do not consume energy, using a cooldown mechanic instead. This has an additional benefit in Railjack, since any battle intrinsic will also use a cooldown – meaning … Continue reading Lavos

Zephyr

Overview: Zephyr rains death from above, conjuring walls of wind to protect her allies and drifting twisters to disrupt her foes. She can be researched in the Tenno lab of your clan dojo. Zephyr also has a minigame called Happy Zephyr based on the Flappy Bird mobile game. It can be bought from Cephalon Simaris, or accessed by equipping Zephyr and selecting the Z tab in appearance. Prime: Zephyr prime is currently vaulted, meaning that you’ll need to ask friends and clanmates if they have the relics, try your luck on the trading channel or simply wait for an unvaulting … Continue reading Zephyr

Octavia

Overview: The bard, Octavia conducts her fellow frames, orchestrating a symphony of destruction with her own percussive flair. Unlock her blueprint via the Octavia’s Anthem quest, pick up her neuroptics in Orokin Derelict Survival missions, systems in Lua exterminate caches and chassis in Lua musical puzzle rooms – and yes, that is a bit of a pain to get. Prime: Octavia Prime relics can drop from mission rewards and syndicate relic packs. She comes with higher shields and energy capacity. Special: Casting any power will grant you and your team 1 energy per second for 30 seconds. Needless to say, … Continue reading Octavia

Titania

Overview: Deal winged-death as this lethal pixie, mesmerising foes and using their own essence against them while buzzing about like the world’s most heavily armed hornet. You can unlock Titania with the Silver Grove quest, available in your codex. Prime: Titania Prime is currently available, with relics dropping as mission rewards and from syndicate relic packs. The prime variant comes with higher health, armour and energy capacity. Special: Gain a passive 25% bonus to bullet-jump and roll distance, and grant nearby allies Upsurge when casting any ability, restoring 4 health per second for 20 seconds. Pros: High energy pool, broad … Continue reading Titania

Nova

Overview: Control globs of unstable antimatter to shield yourself, teleport and cause massive explosions, all the while supporting your team with double damage – if this sounds good to you, check out Nova! Part blueprints drop from Raptor on Naamah (Europa) with the main blueprint available for credits in the market. Prime: The relics containing Nova Prime parts are currently vaulted and thus cannot drop in game. Keep an eye out for “unvaulting” events, ask friends and clanmates if they have any relics with parts or try trading for them in the trade channel. Special: Nova knocks down and damages … Continue reading Nova
