Overview: The healer – no other frame has the restorative power of Trinity and if you only care about ‘support’ abilities, this helpful vampire is probably the frame for you. Parts can be obtained from Ambulas in Hades, Pluto.
Prime: Trinity prime is currently vaulted, so you’ll need to ask clanmates and friends if they have the relics, try your luck on the trade channel or wait for an unvaulting event.
Special: Trinity can revive downed allies 20% faster, and at a greater distance.
Pros: Massive support potential, restoring energy/health/shields and providing consistent damage reduction to herself and allies.
Cons: Average innate defences leave you dependent on powers for survival, relies on weaponry to kill targets, poor crowd-control ability.
Powers: Turn a foe into a health pinata with Well of Life (1) suspending them and temporarily multiplying their health, while restoring health to allies that damage it. Using the Pool of Life augment will cause foes killed while affected by Well of Life (1) to drop health and (potentially) energy orbs when slain.
Fuel your allies with Energy Vampire (2) repeatedly staggering it and causing it to emit pulses of energy to your squad while taking armour-ignoring damage based on their maximum health. Short duration builds will cause the pulses to happen much more frequently, but you can also kill the target to release all remaining pulses at once. The Vampire Leech augment will convert excess energy gain into shields and overshields for your squad.
Redirect damage to foes with Link (3) attaching to the three closest enemies, reducing damage Trinity takes by 75% and dealing each enemy 100% of the damage and status effects Trinity should have taken. Streams of energy will connect to the three enemies affected, and at least one must be affected for Trinity to gain the defensive powers of this ability. The Ablating Link augment will reduce the the armour of connected enemies – or remove it completely at 223% or higher power strength.
Blessing (4) immediately restores 80% of the shields and health of all allies within affinity range (default 50m, can but improved via the Mending Unity focus ability) while granting 50% (boosted by power strength to a maximum of 75%) damage reduction for a short duration. This is arguably the best squad durability in the game, and very good in Eidolon hunt missions for keeping both the lures and your squad in one piece.
Opinion: Trinity fulfils the role of a healer in most co-operative games as she focuses more on buffing and protecting squads rather than topping the scoreboard or being a lone wolf. She’ll vastly improve the durability of any squad she’s in and can have allies spamming powers all the time, but you may find yourself wanting to throttle other players shrieking at you to spam Energy Vampire (2) – the downside of playing a support frame. Overall, she can be highly durable and can boost the performance of a squad in almost any situation, but can be absolutely miserable to play – build her, try her at 30 for a few missions, then decide if you want to invest in forma/reactors. If nothing else, she can be a significant asset in Eidolon Hunts.
